Feeding Clinic
A Collaborative Approach for Effective Treatment
Our Therapists are SOS Feeding trained. The SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) Approach ensures that children are exposed to various food types and textures in a variety of settings and therapists work very closely with the family to ensure the efficacy of the treatment programme.
Children with feeding disorders can have the following symptoms
- Arching or stiffening the body during feeding
- Excessive drooling and/or liquid coming out of the mouth or nose
- Irritability or lack of alertness during feeding
- Long feeding times (more than 30 minutes)
- Difficulty chewing
- Difficulty coordinating breathing with eating and drinking
